A note from the founder
Born in a kitchen, not a lab
Rilka started at a kitchen bench. I kept turning over the bottles on my shelf and finding the same first ingredient... water. Water, thickened and stabilised and preserved, with a little of the good stuff stirred through.
So I stopped buying it. I blended pure plant oils at home... rosehip, moringa, sweet almond... and my skin settled. Comfortable. Quietly itself again.
I didn't set out to start a skincare brand, I just couldn't find all natural effective products.
Guests at our sauna and ice-bath retreat were the first to try the oils. They kept asking to take a bottle home, so I began pouring them properly. Small batches, labelled by hand.
That is still how it works today. Every bottle is poured by hand in Australia, and nothing goes in that your skin can't use.
